THREE BASICS

Last week I started to write on living by a vision. If you missed that you can read up here before going ahead http://innovationresort.blogspot.com.ng/2017/07/living-by-vision.html.

I established a fact that every man carries a proportion of God which God expects him to take full advantage of in order to make earth heavenly. That is the definition of Adam and Eve on earth before the serpent came into the picture which brought a distortion in the order of creation. I concluded that without you coming to know Jesus, the vision cannot be expressed maximally.
I will move further in explaining three practical basics that can help you easily locate God’s embedded uniqueness in you. This can be done by taking a closer observation of the following:

1.      What you find joy in doing without bothering on compensation:
The scripture’s description of Joseph showed him as a young man who loved to render services. He was always there to put things in order. When he was sold into slavery at Potiphar’s house, his master left the administration of his house into his hand. Joseph enjoyed doing this, not minding his current position or state. Immediately he got into prison after he was blackmailed by his master’s wife, the prison warder was glad because there was someone who would make his work less stressful; he handed over the prison administration to Joseph. The only thing that could make him so known for this is consistency with result. He kept doing it without worries.

In the spirit of service, Joseph interpreted the dreams of Pharaoh’s servants- the baker and butler and this was what brought Joseph to the exact place God was preparing him for. It was an easy fit because that was the essence of the man, Joseph.
What do you find joy doing that you are so ready to do without bothering on compensation or your interest? That most likely is God finding expression through you. Remember it’s a portion of Him in you, so whenever it is let out, He tickles inside of you, that brings the joy.

2.      What you feel pain for the most:
You could also take a close look at what touches your heart the most each time there is an event that surrounds a particular event. Moses was designed by God to dislodge the Egyptians and help the Israelite get to the promise land. This was God’s vision for His life and without anyone telling him, he could sense it. Each time he went out, he saw the Israelite's suffering, he couldn’t stand it. Moses was raised in the palace of the king of Egypt, he had access to wealth and power, and despite that he never felt any fulfillment living in this luxury; the reason for his existence would not allow him. His purpose was speaking through his pain.

There are people who at any time they see underage children hawking on the street, they could burst into tears and go further to speaking with them, making effort to know about their parents and see if they could help such children off the street. Not necessarily because they have the funds. I feel compassion for such children too but all I do is just pray within my heart for such a young child except on specific direction. Those who can’t stand the pain most likely have a ministry in child welfare or orphanage home management.

What breaks your heart that you feel needs to be better? Your purpose may be lurking around there.

3.      What you do consistently without extra effort:
Samson is one man the Lord created for the purpose of eradicating the Philistines. He grew up to knowing this and was working at it. Each time he went out, he did things that were extra-ordinary but to him they meant nothing. He would carry the gate of a whole city like it was a pencil. When the secret of his power was discovered and he fell to Delilah, he said to himself while the Philistines attacked him, “I will shake myself as usual”. It was a consistent activity without any extra effort. He didn’t need to join the army to become the warrior he was. He enjoyed supernatural influence.

There are things you just do without any extra effort. You enjoy supernatural insight when doing them. Most people have failed to annex this by tagging it as “just a hobby”. Would you look inward and develop this to be a blessing and have a more fulfilled life?

Now, anybody could actually discover all of these, so, what makes an unbeliever different from a believer if vision is about God?

It’s the end product. Just like the parable of the talents, the servant with one talent didn’t believe in the master even though he had the master’s money (ability). The money (ability) only accorded him the value of a rich man but never made his master rich.

The basic purpose of what God has embedded in you is to make Him rich. How far have you gone in making Him rich? How many lives have smiled to Jesus because of the service you rendered? You can double what He has given you. This is when you have actually lived by a vision, everyone can know it but everyone may not live by it.

Let me end this with things to do after discovering your vision: Write it down, read it to yourself often, avoid vision killers, discipline and determination are essential, commitment to the vision and attend training and conferences in relation to your vision.

I hope this is helpful.
