In a geographical location was two communities who were not always in agreement. Each community had its leaders, culture, tradition and belief systems. One of the community had enough man-power, filled with potentials but had a leader who wasn’t so powerful. However, everyone knows this community has a God who seems to truly be the almighty God. Anyone who tried to attack this community always had this God to battle with, they had a history of outstanding victory. The only time any community could have victory over them is when this God allows for such.

 

And here comes such a time. The second community that had a very tough leader overthrew this community that has so long history of victory. They made away with all the community had and it was just like the supposed Almighty “God” had gone on vacation. The leader of this community that took possession of the other was so glad, immediately he took advantage of the man-power this overthrown community had. He instructed that the ones looking good and sensible be thought in their own ways.

 

Fair Havens or Phoenix?

I want to describe two options you could have at a point of making a decision and the destination any option you choose could get you; FAIR HAVENS, PHOENIX and CLAUDA. The beautiful thing is that at each of this point, God never let you go.

Permissive Will?

“It could be God’s permissive will or God’s perfect will”… I have heard this expression so many a times at different places and have just always wondered how true that can be. I had a discussion along making a choice with a friend who then mentioned this again and I immediately retorted because this has been strange to the teaching of the scriptures have known. Is there really anything like God’s permissive will in the scriptures?

THE COLONY

I discovered in the place of prayer why it seems some people’s life is without troubles, even though we all exist in the same country where the economy is in a mess. It’s about two kingdoms, one government.

Colonialism was first God’s idea. It is a practice of ruling other nations as colonies. He brought Adam and Eve in His likeness and they had a colony here on earth where He, the colonist comes around ones a while to check on His baby colony. Adam was in the kingdom earth but in reality it was an extension of the Kingdom heaven. God still ruled there. Adam was just a consular general. The image of God is the constitution of heaven that became replicated by Adam on earth. Two kingdoms but one government.

WORKS

The Lord helped us to see the sharp divide that exist in the church today in our last two post (You can read up on the blog). These two divide have been dealt with, but one thing that separates the two is the claim on end to WORKS by a divide in relation to GRACE and the other feels that’s an avenue to promote unrighteousness. We’d go through understanding this together.

God created all He did create by command but man wasn’t brought to existence this way.  There was an agreement in heaven before man was formed. There was first a deliberation before man was created because of the uniqueness of man. “then God said, let us make man- someone like ourselves, to be master of all life upon the earth and in the skies and in the seas” Gen1vs26. It just means man was an original representation of God existing in a bodily form. This made it natural for man to do things that were just the mind of God. It is not if man makes mistakes, he is the Lord over the earth, it is an autocratic reign, and even God couldn’t discredit whatever man says. This was why every name man gave to all the animals were just perfect fit. He trusted man with the earth kingdom. Man ruled by decree.

Not long after there was a civil coup. A soldier who had fallen as a result of his planned coup in heaven which failed to succeed visited the territory of these military heads over the earth to upturn the kingdom. It was civil because it came without force. Unknowingly for this earth-lord, it was a civil way for this defeated foe to have a kingdom to call his own. Immediately after the incident in Eden, man no longer have that absolute authority and control over the earth, the serpent and its agents became partially powerful. The fallen angel succeeded, man lost that position of prestige. Man could no longer rule by decree. It then became a democratic system where the word of the man isn’t just power but needed to be ratified by the upper (God) and lower (High Priest) legislative chamber.

You must take note that before man lost it, whatever he does is exactly what God approves. It isn’t because there had been a pre-ordained decision but because man was in glory (oneness with God). It was man legal right to administer His territory without any external aggression. There was nothing like God’s will because man is God’s will Himself. “Lion begets lion”.

Immediately the sad event happened, the sense of pleasing God set in. what was natural was distorted. Man began to have the consciousness of being right with God. Man then tried to cover up his nakedness (unworthiness). The nakedness represents absence of clothing (Glory). They needed something to stand in this gap. They became uncomfortable with how they had always been because their mind had been activated and it began to process information to their brain. The brain can’t comprehend Glory. They now could reason and think about things around not the way the Lord sees it again (Spirit) but consciousness of the flesh.

This was the advent of WORKS…

“and the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked, AND THEY SEWED FIG LEAVES TOGETHER, AND MADE THEMSELVES APRON” Gen3v7

This was where the consciousness of having ways to please God set in. you must understand that works is always accompanied with “fear”

“that evening they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden, and they hid themselves among the trees” Gen3v8

This metamorphosed into the administration of laws to man in order to be on the good account of GOD. The works were only standing in the place of the GLORY that left by PROXY. The Israelites got a handful of these laws to live by. They just have to do some certain things which will make them be pleasing to God and also to get close to Him. Those who don’t live by these laws were not for the Lord. In essence, the works became full blown in the laws. This is why it was difficult for the Israelites to understand the era of GRACE which is the original plan of God preached tirelessly by Paul.

As you go this week, be aware you have the real deal now, no longer by proxy!

Lighted Light

Are you in a situation that you just need to hear God? I mean you wish He’d just speak directly to your ears. This could be concerning a pressing need, but the more you keep on keeping on, it seems no clearance and you are almost been pushed to going through “other” means to actualize this.

“The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness.” Matt6:22-23

That scripture above is full of mysteries which in a very simple way will be broken down for you to feed on this week. The eye represents the light of the body. The eye here is a symbol of your heart. The heart is open and receptive, it is inside of it activities go on. This is why the scriptures says “Keep your heart with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life” Prov 4vs23.

Violence

The scripture is meant to be a tool to equip you to becoming just as He desires- the exact image of His dear son. This is the essence of seeing the scriptures in the light of what it truly means. The Lord knows the truth is hidden is why He says “Ye shall know the truth”. It unfolds. There are things yet unknown, even though He is the truth Himself.

Let’s look into another truth this week that will take us deeper in fellowship with Him. I have heard people say the kingdom of God is quite difficult to make and some feel only God knows those that serve Him. To make it to the kingdom then requires hardened effort of a man. This means it’s a pretty difficult adventure. And I must tell you, have seen this result into zeal without knowledge. In order to support this view, the scripture is made reference to. Let’s look into that scripture:

“And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” Matt11vs12.

Just like Martha...

The story of Mary and Martha is a significant bible story which the Lord will be using to speak to us this week. The message from this is quite significant to how the year will turn out to be. I know you might have read that story. If you have, you might have celebrated Mary and just wondered what Martha was doing not to have sat at the masters’ feet. The story is fundamental because it was an interaction between these great women and the Lord Jesus Himself. And, you can be sure each time He speaks, there is a whole lot there in.
