Theory of equation!

There is a parable of the kingdom that spoke out to me which is very important you see the Truth standing bold behind the letters. I have heard many times and also thought myself it was just referring to a group of persons and spoke of their vulnerability- the elect.

A young rich man was told how he needed to sell all he had to make the kingdom. owing from this, Jesus made the statement that it is almost impossible for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven, the disciples then asked who on earth can then be saved? Peter immediately ran a cost analysis, looking at the alternative forgone and thought immediately how much they have left to follow Him and what will be their benefit. Jesus then assured him all the twelve were going to be in the kingdom with Him. However, Jesus went ahead to also extend gaining entry into the kingdom to anyone who believes and leaves every other thing in search of Him as a sign of believing. He then concluded with the statement “many who are first now will be last then, and some who are last now will be first”. Matt19vs30

This then led to the parable in the book of Matthew 20vs1-16. He used the illustration of an estate owner hiring workers for his harvest field. He had an agreement with those who started working for him to pay them $20 a day and sent them out to work. Only for this Chief Executive Office to come around later in the day to find some men waiting for jobs, so he sent them into the fields, telling them he would pay them whatever was right at the end of the day. Quite unusual in the world system, this CEO still saw some other guys ready to work around 3pm and still some others around 5pm (that’s just an hour to the end of the day’s work), he hired them. Since they were willing, His work is always open, never full as long as it is day. The harvest is plenty there is need for more workers.

So, it was time to pay all the workers. He started with those he employed last. He paid each of them $20 which was his agreement with those he hired first. This made those he hired first have a feeling they were going to be paid more (at least we worked harder than this other guys, I presume they would say). To their surprise, the CEO gave them a shocker, they also got $20.

Now, this is the big deal, the early comers protested on why they should be paid same amount with those who worked for only an hour. Then, Jesus told them He had not defiled the agreement He made with them. This led to the statement which breeds fear if you see it from the letters “And so it is that the last shall be first, and the first last” 20vs16.

I also would think this meant those who are burning for God now will become lukewarm and probably not make it to the kingdom. This have brewed fear in the heart of those passionate about Him. It’s beyond the grammatical meaning. This is why the Lord immediately after that statement in Matt19vs30 went ahead to explain with the illustration in Matt20vs1-16, also reaffirming the statement to make the disciples understand what it meant. This is why it started with “so” in Matt 20

This is it: there are two groups of persons here, the DISCIPLES/EARLY HOUR WORKERS and ANYONE/LATE HOUR WORKERS. All of them will make the kingdom as long as they are in terms with the Son. The DISCIPLES/EARLY HOUR WORKERS naturally should feel they deserve better than the ANYONE/LATE HOUR WORKERS, but He is saying that’s the world system. Here in my kingdom the contract I signed in THE PLAN remains “whosoever believeth in me shall have everlasting life”. That’s the $20! So this makes all of us even, no first, and no last. The first becomes last and the last becomes first. It is a theory of equation. They all got same amount but not same hour of work. The head imagination of man presume the kingdom will be divided along this line but work doesn’t count, the central work that makes us even is accepting Him as the Lord and Saviour.

Are you yet to have Him as your only Lord and Saviour? He is waiting for you, the field is still available. Confess Jesus as your Lord and believe in your heart that He is the Son of God who died to take away your sins. Amen. That’s it!
