Who is SPIRITUAL Exopounded

In the beginning when God created Adam and Eve, they were perfect image of God. They were so not because of their look but because their spirit was in consonance with God. They represented God on earth. They were spiritual beings though they existed physically as humans. The apex of their spirituality was quoted within the confines of submission. The only thing God demands of them was to submit to His spirit inside. It is in this He gave an instruction that seeks to keep the Spirit alive, His word is the Spirit. Adam had a spirit, but there is a Spirit in man’s spirit. Spirit can only connect with spirit but man’s output could be distorted within the soul because of the tripartite nature of man.

Another spirit came and man submitted to that spirit, this was just the assassinating moment of the genuine Spirit that occupied the spirit of man. What you obey is what controls you and indirectly you represent. This was the point man lost his spirituality and every attempt to get this back is difficult because the spirit of God could no longer stay permanently in the spirit of man. The spirit could only reside upon because man could no longer be trusted. This is the reason King David could be wonderful at this very moment and at the next he commits a grievous sin against God.

 Man’s spirituality became a problem, man can no longer submit consistently to the Spirit until there was a propitiation for this. Jesus came to restore things back to the way it was during the time of Adam and Eve. The Holy Spirit can now reside within, God no longer see man’s spirit in its raw state but the blood of Jesus enriching it. Now man can be spiritual- a consistent submission to Him. Man can now consistently submit to God through the spirit, by this He is tagged spiritual because you can only be spiritual to the extent to which you submit to God consistently.

Martha is a zealous fellow, she was interested in making sure she served the Master well, give Him the best of the treat and the Master should be satisfied. Mary on the other hand was just there at His feet not agitated about anything, only to listen to Him. Martha thought there was a need to minister unto Jesus, she was so busy with all you can think, moving from one place to the other. She failed to know His meat was to do the will of His Father. Mary already caught the truth and she was there submitting to Him. Both were trying to please the master but, one didn’t know the road though she knew the way. And Christ said Mary had done the needful- submitting.

           

You cannot measure your level of spirituality using how many times you pray, fast or visit Prayer Mountains… all of those are also practiced by those who don’t know Christ. That isn’t the core of salvation. Your spirituality is tied to the purpose of dishing out the Spirit- salvation. Most often all of these  exercises are meant for a renewal of your soul and for you to make your desires known to Him. That doesn’t make you all spiritual. It only shows you know there is a supreme being existing somewhere. The true spiritual measurement tool is in asking yourself how consistent you have been in doing His will- submitting in your daily activity, without your input and influence. You could even be manifesting in diverse gifts of the spirit. That on its own doesn’t even qualify you for this. When a man has the gifts of the Spirit, they don’t directly describe the man. The giver of the gift could need you to help play some role in His grand plan. But, when a man possesses the fruits, you can be sure a tree only produces fruits of its kind.

“But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” Gal5v22

The Holy Spirit only needs you to submit before it can control you.

 Do you submit to the Spirit when it comes to your business, when writing an exam, initiating a contract, relationships etc.? These are what indicates if you are spiritual, not just that desire to cast out demon. The greatest demon is inability to submit to Him (After He had paid for that and released the ability). If you cast that out, you are the most potent weapon in God’s hands.

As you go this week, try this formula; submit ALL believing He will take care of it and see how much victory you will record. In that you are spiritual.
