Last
week the Lord made us to see what the darkness is and how it entered into the
earth after God created the Earth which we can conclude was perfect at
creation. If you missed that last week, please do read before we proceed on
this series. http://innovationresort.blogspot.com.ng/2016/09drkness.html?m=1
When darkness entered the earth, it became difficult for the angels that took turn in the earth to do so. Darkness became the ruler of the earth alongside his ministers. God came up with a new plan. He spoke light into the world by the reason of the WORD but the light would not be sustained as a result of the nature of the earth which the WORD wasn’t in conformity with. This is why He had to later come in the flesh into the earth for a final solution (we will look at that fully in the last chapter). The only solution for then was to have a creature from the earth like the God Himself who will preserve the Light and raise a standard against the darkness. Ruler-ship signifies Light in God’s government. This brought Adam into the picture after the adjustment of the earth had been done to ensure the continued reign of God.
The
creation of man wasn’t just about overseeing the earth to dislodge the
activities of the darkness but to ensure this doesn’t multiply. The multiplication
of darkness on earth will be a detriment to the continued existence of light.
When
God created man, there was a seed that represented the life of God inside of
him. So, he instructed man to be fruitful and multiply. The implication of this
was that each time Adam and Eve knew each other (sexual intercourse), they will
only reproduce God’s kind. This means an expansion of the light. By implication,
there would be an extension of God’s government on earth.
You
can be sure the former morning star turned darkness knows the acts of God so
well and His nature. As such I can say, he would predict God’s intention. The Lucifer
also knew by the reason of Adam’s light there would be expansion of the light
which will be a threat to him and his cohorts. He then put his subtleness into
play.
Lucifer
knew what brings a divide between any creature and God, he introduced this into
the life of man- unbelief. He came to ensure man disbelieved the report of God
by eating from the fruit God had commanded him not to eat.
Two
things got God angry. First, man believed the report of the serpent. Secondly,
the intention of God became frustrated. By the act of disbelieving God, there
was a cut in the relationship between God and man. The seed that represented
light in man was gone, man lost it. What represented glory disappeared. Man began
to look for leaves in replacement of the glory.
Now,
it didn’t just happen that darkness took over from man, but the resistive power
inherent in man that withstands the counsel of evil (darkness) was gone. So,
instead of their product becoming light bearers they produced weaklings who had
no resistive power against the devil. What this meant was that there was now an
expression of darkness in the sons of men. This eventually led to the
reproduction of seeds that were not God’s kind. Imagine if Adam and Eve never
fell, and they only produced their kind, it would have been an era of GROSS
LIGHT but on the other way round darkness multiplied as a result of the missing
seed of light. As long as man kept reproducing, it wasn’t light. So we had the beginning
of that season of GROSS DARKNESS covering the people.
It
was GROSS DARKNESS because the darkness became the nature of the man created in
God’s image and not just the fallen angels that occupied the earth. In this
season man became weak to fight against darkness. How do you know if you are in
this season? Examine yourself, how weak is your resistance to ideas against God’s
kingdom?
It
didn’t end there, there is one more season. You don’t want to miss any of this
series.
