It's a Journey!

Hi, hope the year is panning out as you desire? Don’t forget it’s our year of harvest even if it seem it’s not yet turning out as you so expect. His word never fails. I received a word during the last week and I figured out it will be a great blessing to you too so as to avoid the devils lie in stealing your faith from the Father’s word.

The word stems from the story of a nation loved by God immeasurably. They had been in captivity for so long but the God of this nation was never asleep. He knew their situation and also plans in accordance for them. While they were in this condition, the God sought them out by sending a deliverer who He found deserving as at the time.

The deliverer came, did varieties of miracles as directed by the master. The people believed this was God in action. There were proofs beyond physical discredit that it was supernatural. Unfortunately, as at the time the deliverer came their travail and pains doubled. It was as if the help sent by the God was not truly from Him or the God had plans to deal with them the more. In fact, some passerby would have concluded its either they offended the God or it was the devil dealing with them.

Just like a flash of light, after the increased burden, there came the freedom they had desired for a long time. The freedom didn’t come ordinary, they went away with every good thing their task masters had. They were not just free, they were free and blessed. How relieving!

Don’t be too excited yet. After a little walk into the freedom, they came across the Red Sea again. The red sea is a huge stumbling block that seems to have no way to sail through by any natural standard. More so, beyond the Red Sea, there was a shorter route to their destination but the God chose to take them through the longer one to instill obedience. This brought about the journey.

After the liberation was the Red Sea and then the journey. At the Red Sea, they retorted and felt it was better they had died in captivity. However, the God took them through miraculously. Even at that there was still the journey. The journey felt like it was never going to end.

Friend, where are you? Do you ask yourself that question “am I sure it was God that brought me here?” The situation feels so hopeless and you feel it’s better you go to where you were before, even though you know it’s a place of captivity. That there is a “seemingly unconquerable” red sea ahead doesn’t mean God didn’t lead you there. Remember after the freedom from Egypt, there was still the Red Sea and after the Red Sea, the journey.

The fastest route to Canaan (your place of harvest) is full trust in Him. However, you need to note that even in Canaan there were giants and the wall of Jericho to overcome. It’s a journey friend. You may not have missed the road, if you still trust in the master.

As you go this week, perish the thought that the devil has succeeded over anything in your life. It’s a journey. All required is patience and trust in Him.
