Last week was on “where is your ring?” which from feedback received, it blessed many. This week’s dose is just a step further. If you missed it, please do read before moving ahead here http://innovationresort.blogspot.co.uk/2015/08/where-is-your-ring.html?m=1
Now we are going to see one of the effective ways to use your ring as a king that you are.
There
was celebration in the kingdom of King Ahasuerus which lasted for six month.
When it was all over, the king gave a special party for the palace servants and
officials. On the final day of the in-house celebration, the king was half
drunk. He instructed that the queen be brought to him with the royal crown upon
her head, so that all men could gaze upon her beauty. Despite the authority and
power of the king, she refused. She defiled the order of the king. Vashti!
According
to the Midrash(commentary on Hebrew bible), Vashti was the daughter of King
Belshazzar of Babylon and the great-grand daughter of king Nebuchadnezzar, the
man who destroyed the first temple in Jerusalem. The night her father was
murdered, there was much bloodshed and looting in the palace. Amidst the confusion,
Vashti was unaware of the death of her father and ran to his quarters where she
was captured by Darius, the succeeding king. Darius took pity on the young
Vashti and gave her to his son Ahasuerus.
Vashti
doesn’t belong to the King’s kingdom, she is not a product of the King’s nature.
In fact, she was a product of pity, she could have been killed. She was living
with the king who had no option than to have grown in intimacy with her. When
she finally acted in defiance to the king’s order, he didn’t know what to do
with her. Memucan- one of the king’s chiefs- was with the king with the right
answer:
“Queen
Vashti has wronged not only the king but every official and citizen of your
empire… for women everywhere will begin to disobey their husbands when they
learn what Queen Vashti has done…we suggest that, subject to your agreement,
you issue a royal edict, a law of the Medes and Persians that can never be
changed, that Queen Vashti be forever Banished” Est1v16-20
The
king did just as Memucan said, but surprisingly only a short while the king
desired Vashti again because she had stayed too long with the king.
Vashti
are those things that doesn’t belong to this new kingdom you are. In this
kingdom, when you become a citizen, you are no longer bound by every union of
your former kingdom. The problem with Vashti is when permitted, there is a
probability the whole kingdom will become “Vashtilized”- Rebellion. Memucan saw
this coming and knew the only option is to banish Vashti before she paralyzes
the kingdom.
King
Herod saw that the Christians could permit Vashti, he took James and killed
him. There was no Memucan to let the Church know they were permiting Vashti,
not until Peter was picked to be killed. They rose to banish that Vashti
(Act12v1-6).
Some
have come to see a particular sickness as their own, you hear such statement as
“when MY headache starts” what a Vashti! I used to be like that, until I
realized it was a Vashti, I banished it. You can be sure it won’t stop at just
that, it will move to influence the whole kingdom (your life). That’s vashti
for you. I don’t know what the Vashti is in you. Is it a reoccurring unpleasant
situation in your family and you also joined them to say “that’s the way it
happens to us”? No! When you permit one Vashti, it is capable of making more
copies of itself. Listen to what Memucan (Holy Ghost) is telling you! Yes,
issue a royal edict, the law that cannot be changed (Decree the word), it’s
already documented there. Get into the WORD, SPEAK IT!
See
this: “When this decree is published throughout your kingdom, husbands
everywhere, whatever their rank, will be respected by their wives!” Est1v20
Are
you saying you have accepted that unpleasant occurrence as your fate? It’s time
to use your ring, banish Vashti, so Esther can gain entrance- Esther signifies
deliverance.
As
you go this week, would you please change your confession? Banish that Vashti,
she doesn’t belong to this kingdom after all!
Be
Innovated.

ReplyDelete#banishing vashti with my ring is the in thing to do at this present illusory state of mine.
Thank you for discarding the conventional belief that has eaten deep into the present church, removing blindfolds, and leading people towards the right path through your illustrative life-changing write up
God bless you sir
This is a beautiful and enlightening piece.
ReplyDeleteI take authority over the vashti in my career.
Wow..nice one bro. I take control over every vashti in my life.
ReplyDeleteThis is quite explosive and truly innovative. Every Vashti in my life is banished in Jesus name. Every Vashti against Nigeria is equally banished in Jesus name. Amen.
