The Wisdom in Egypt

There are period and times everything seems to turn just the other way round. It’s not just happening the way you planned or desire. Economic recession is sweeping over investments, things are becoming harder by the day. Young and energetic men are losing strength. This can be so destabilizing and you may want to shift your ground on Jesus. It has happened before and the only solution then is still what you need now- The Wisdom in Egypt.

 

There was serious famine all over the world and it was going to affect everyone, including God’s own- The Israelites. It so look like everyone was going to die from the famine. However, the Lord already made provision for this time before hand haven sent a young man to the Land of Egypt. This must have been so because Egypt, during the ancient times especially the old kingdom, was “Kemet”, meaning “Black Land”. This referred to the fertile soil of the Nile Valley. Egypt actually have been used many times to mean the negative and each time we hear that, we just feel it’s the undesirable.

 

However, God had plan for the children of Israel to preserve them by passing through the corridor of Egypt. Egypt is not just about bondage, inside of it there is GOSHEN. That’s where God intend for His own.

 

Egypt is a land God sent Joseph, even though he suffered but enjoyed God’s presence. All God did was ensuring His own children are preserved. This preservation would not have happened if there wasn’t wisdom in Egypt. Joseph stood as the wisdom in Egypt. All through his stay before he got to the throne he never denied the Lord! He didn’t shift his ground all for his personal pleasure. He preserved himself as he is the wisdom of God meant to launch Israel into Goshen inside of Egypt.

 

The Lord had a plan for Israel. He does have a plan for every of His children. Years before the famine He already planted the wisdom in Egypt for sustenance of His own. Before you were born, He knew all of what you are going to go through.

 

Egypt signifies the rough moments, it’s not a place God planned for His children to rest but He is very much aware of it. It is just for sustenance and to ensure they are trained to trust in Him. Inside of Egypt is Goshen where He will bring His own. Even inside the troubles (Egypt), wisdom is been planted therein to make you abode in abundance (Goshen).

 

God had sent wisdom in your Egypt even before now. Remember Joseph invited his brothers, same way Jesus declared that you are now His brother. He is saying Even though mankind crucified me at the inception, it is for your entire good. Now come and have the rest I have designed for you. It looked rough but now I have it all and making you a priest and a king. The only condition Joseph who represented the wisdom in Egypt gave was for the Israelite to choose to stay in Goshen. Jesus is also saying stay in Goshen (in Him) and you would never die of famine. Are you saved? I cannot guarantee your survival, if you are not in this Goshen. 

 

Friend, God’s got you covered, don’t give in to all the pressures. The Wisdom in your Egypt is right beside you. As you go this week let this word give you the confidence that He is right there in your Egypt (Troubles), just choose Goshen (His Word) and therein you find rest.
