The PREFACE

In 2013, I released the book titled “Your Domain” which exposes how man can understand his place in God and doing all the God way. A young man after reading this book came back to me filled with anger in his spirit, hungry for righteousness. He asked me if he could disregard the entire result of an annual exam he had written because it wasn’t totally his self-effort. He wanted to go sit for another exam where he could be proud of God as the one behind it. Only one thing happened to this young man; the book opened his eyes to the “domain” where he rightly belong, and in that domain sin is an alien.

 Let me introduce to you the preface of my new book titled “I am Not a Sinner”;

Over the centuries, there has been much misunderstanding in the church concerning the matter of sin, sinfulness and righteousness. “The Church” seems not to have an impeccable answer to this issue and it baffled me over and over, as I grow up. It has always been a concern to me each time we pray and it seems at every minute we are guilty of sin. It is so common to say the prayer this way “we are wretched sinners, God please forgive us”, and each time I try to question this prayers, the impression given is that we are all sinners and that every step we take in life, because we are humans, we sin. No one can say he is without sin. Then I thought within myself, if we sin every day or every minute (the way it is being described) and have to ask for forgiveness at every prayer time, what if death takes me away before morning prayers, where will I end my journey?

I struggled with this on and on, with no one to provide a perfect answer to me, not even the “Church”. This book is a compilation of the answers given to me by the Holy Spirit, my mentor. He revealed to me the mind of God in accordance to the word. He makes me to know what I need to know about sin, righteousness and living victoriously above sin.

I have always shared this message since I was an undergraduate amidst my friends. Some believed, some didn’t. At a time, it seemed I would not be able to hold myself but the Holy Spirit stood true to His word. I preached this message officially for the first time to a group of students of Agape College of Theology School in Barkin-Ladi Local Government, Plateau State as I rounded off my compulsory youth service to my country, Nigeria. This is what one of the participants who has been a Christian and a church leader for many years had to say after the meeting:

The guilt of my past life; mistake was almost pushing me to a point of hanging myself. I thought it impossible to live the Christian life because I thought it was by my self-righteousness. Satan laid it permanently in my heart, the guilt of my past until 17/10/2014. God used bro Femi to explain how we got our righteousness in Christ Jesus (Rom10v1-4, 2Cor5v21). God helped me to have a personal revelation after Femi preached to us. I was totally delivered within. After the seminar, I had a dream, I saw myself standing inside termites but, suddenly, I saw something like a wind wipe away the termites from my domain. I saw myself standing in a white environment, pure and clear. When I woke up, I felt peace within my heart and since then, I have been totally free from my past guilt

Many are struggling with a life of sin in the church and there seems to be no solution. The misunderstanding of the work of Christ keeps man in a state of pity and guilt, while God already made the provision for man’s freedom. He that the son of man sets free is free indeed. And how do you become free?

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8v32

 Keep your faith alive as you receive the blessings of God in this book. This message is to the church- all who have been called out into the marvelous light of Christ. It is also to those who are to be heirs of salvation. Enjoy God!

The only thing capable of stopping you is unbelief.

As you go this week, ruminate on this; “IF THE BLOOD OF JESUS IS ONLY MEANT TO TAKE AWAY SIN WITHOUT HAVING THE POWER TO MAKE MAN STAY CLEAN, WHAT THEN DIFFERENTIATES IT FROM THE BLOOD OF ANIMALS THAT WERE USED IN THE OLD TESTAMENT?”
