We cannot shy away from the realities of this world we are. There is a force called culture that has a powerful effect on man and how we respond back to the society. I have come to discover most of the problems we define are culturally motivated. What some culture considers as success is seen by another as meagre occurrence. So, the one from the part that believes such a feat achieved amounts to a whole lot feels there is a problem when he finds himself around those who sees it as nothing. There is actually a problem not the problem!
In essence, our definition of what a problem is varies. I understand you hurt, things have not been going as you really desire, those of your age-grade have gone far ahead and you feel nothing serious has come out of your life. Perhaps you just missed an opportunity to expand your career. All these are products of what is obtainable in our society. Prevalent culture in most cases have the capacity of breaking your spirit when it becomes the benchmark for your measurement of success. There is actually a problem not the problem!
This has led you to attend several prayer meetings where you have heard words prevalent still in the society, giving credence to a devil in charge of your life; abuse of the new birth. Words not from the scriptures but from the cultural expectation of man. And sometimes you yourself come to doubt the reality of God having given so much to worshiping Him but still that request is yet to be attended to. Father Abraham was His closest friend, He answered him for the promised child at a time it looked too late for man. They saw a problem but He answered when He chose. There is actually a problem not the problem!
My fear is that what you are requesting from Him has turned you to become suspicious of everything that happens around you. You just feel there is a battle for you to fight since it’s cultural for a lady of your age to be married by now. There is actually a problem not the problem!
God isn’t so interested in your culture, he operates with His structure. There is a way He has written your script. The only thing that counts you out of your original script is if you have not given your life to Him. There is actually a problem not the problem!
What then is the problem?
The problem is not the problem, that’s your cultural expectation. The problem is you not knowing God isn’t seeing a problem here. Before Jesus left to go minister to Lazarus, He already knew what was going to happen. Others saw problems, Jesus was seeing another moment of glorification of the Father. Mary who ought to know more about this haven sat at His feet couldn’t see into this spiritual reality so Jesus was touched to the heart, He wept. The problem was Mary not seeing that death isn’t a problem.
I write you this week to stay out of sorrow, wipe your tears. He is a High-Priest who feels your pain, He takes no pleasure in seeing you in pain but won’t defile the structure He had intended for your life; they are thoughts of good. Paul understood this so he was ready to go to Jerusalem despite prophecy from a true prophet of God for Him not to go because of the suffering ahead. It was a problem, but God wasn’t seeing a problem, so did Paul.
As you go this week, this is the word of the Lord for you:
“BE STRONG, FEAR NOT, FOR YOUR GOD IS COMING TO DESTROY YOUR ENEMIES. HE IS COMING TO SAVE YOU. AND WHEN HE COMES, HE WILL OPEN THE EYES OF THE BLIND, AND UNSTOP THE EARS OF THE DEAF. THE LAME MAN WILL LEAP UP LIKE A DEER, AND THOSE WHO COULD NOT SPEAK WILL SHOUT AND SING! SPRINGS WILL BURST FORTH IN YOUR WILDERNESS, AND STREAMS IN YOUR DESERT. YOUR PARCHED GROUND WILL BECOME A POOL, WITH SPRINGS OF WATER IN YOUR THIRSTY LAND”. ISIAH35V4B-7 (EMPHASIS, MINE).
The problem isn’t the “problem”, the problem is not knowing God doesn’t see it as a problem. Relax, rest in Him, and see Him sort it all out beyond your anxiety.
